We built Carli because we needed it ourselves.
Paul & Romi GmbH — a ceramics e-commerce brand that got tired of switching between three dashboards every day.
From frustrated shop owner to MCP-native marketing system.
Carli was born out of frustration. We run Paul & Romi, an e-commerce brand for handcrafted ceramics and tableware. We sell on Shopify, advertise on Google Ads and Meta Ads (formerly Facebook Ads), and spend every morning checking three dashboards to understand what happened yesterday.
We asked ourselves: why can't we just ask one question — "where am I wasting budget?" — and get a real answer that spans all three platforms? Not a chart. Not a CSV export. A real, reasoned answer with concrete actions we can approve.
So we built Carli. First as an internal tool for our own shop. Then we realized: every e-commerce operator has the same problem. Carli became a product — the first marketing system built natively on Claude's Model Context Protocol.

MCP-native. Not another AI wrapper.
Most "AI marketing tools" take GPT or Claude (by Anthropic) and wrap it in a dashboard. The AI is a feature — a chatbot in a sidebar, a button that generates ad copy. The intelligence is constrained by the interface someone built around it.
Carli is the opposite. Claude IS the interface. The Model Context Protocol gives Claude direct, secure API access to your ad accounts through 57 specialized tools. No dashboard between you and the intelligence. You talk to Claude, and Claude has the power to understand and act.
This means Carli gets better every time Claude gets better. No UI rebuild needed. No feature roadmap bottleneck. When Anthropic ships a smarter model, your marketing operations improve the same day.
“The best interface for AI-powered marketing is no interface at all.”
How we think about AI in marketing.
Approval, not automation
Every change requires your explicit OK. Claude prepares, you decide. This is not a safety feature — it's a core design principle. We believe operators should stay in control.
Cross-platform, not siloed
Your ad performance doesn't live in one platform. Neither should your tools. Carli analyzes Google, Meta, and Shopify together — in one conversation, with shared context.
Honest, not impressive
We don't show vanity metrics. We don't claim features that don't work yet. Our changelog lists only what's actually shipped. If something is coming soon, we say so.
